Hi
This is my first post on the forum and I need help please. I just bought a Canon 1d mk2 and decided to clean the internal viewfinder mirror which was dirty. There is a piece of clear plastic that covers the mirror and when I started to clean it, it simply fell out.
I can obviously see it has been broken and shoved back in as there are rough edges on it that probably supported it in position and are now gone.
I need to know what it is called so I can try to track one down, it has something to do with the AF points as it has two circles superimposed on it, and can anyone please tell me a parts company where I would be able to get a replacement or do I have to go to Canon.
Thank you for any help
