Hi,
I'm currently using a Lowepro Slingshot100aw to carry around my Canon 60D, 18-55mm (attached), 55-250mm and nifty-50. Lob in the usual chargers, etc. and things get a bit tight.

In addition to the kit above, I'm expecting a flash for Christmas and will want space for a couple of mini tripods, standard tripod and compact binoculars.

So what say you knowledgeable lot on the Canon 10eg and 1eg? Will I regret not spending the extra on the 1eg? Or will it be overkill for this very amateur photographer?

My Ex had the 1eg. Whilst she didn't have as much equipment, it was great as she put all her day to day things in it when taking the camera out into town.

More space to fill additional items when you acquire them I guess.

i have a couple of 10 eg's and for the amount you want to carry i think you would be better off with the bigger 1eg

i can fit a 1dx with a 70 - 200mm f2.8 lens "just" into the 10 eg but that's about it or in the other ( configured differently ) i can fit the body a couple of smaller lenses and a flash but not much more

i can obviously fit other things into the pouches but you can soon fill em there not that big

i like the 10 eg's because there not that big, saves carrying a rucksack type on my back :)

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll place that order for the 1eg today. At least there'll be room for that 100mm macro lens I'm hankering after.
