heya guys,
I got some really good advice here before so thought i'd pick your collective brain again.
I'm going to be spending next week shooting a variety of sports; football, rugby league, netball, hockey, lacrosse, tennis, judo, volleyball and possibly a few more...
I've used the sigma 120-300 2.8 before for a (badly) floodlit game and was very pleased but was wondering how the canon 100- 400 L holds up in daylight conditions or indoors. The extra range on the zoom would be really useful and these pictures are generally not for large reproduction so a bit of grain is not the end of the world but im a bit worried about the 4.5 - 5.6 aperture just not being fast enough
has anyone had any experience using this lens for sports? its also a fair bit cheaper to rent than the sigma and half the weight!!
cheers
