ive had a few Gopro's, but my latest Hero 4 Black is causing me some concern. I've had a few issues with it failing to record, but the latest is the lcd display. When I press the Mode button, I see the lcd display distorting. It's even worse if I tap or put even a small amount of pressure on the front casing to the left of the display ( where the red and blue lcd's are.)
Does anybody else have this happening to theirs? I can't remember seeing this on my other Gopro's.
The camera needs to be turned on and out of the waterproof case before you check.

Thanks both, thats what I wanted to hear. I asked the same question on GoPro forums and just got stupid replies. Nice to know you can rely on TP members, as ever.

RE: failing to record. I've had my Black 3 for just over 2 years and recently it was halting on recordings, I finally sussed that I had been manually deleting the files via windows since having a new workflow. I took the card out and reformatted it with the PC and then re-installed it and formatted it on the GoPro and the issues have gone away. In case it helps at all.

Thats a good point, thanks. I use a Mac but always delete and format cards in cameras etc. I've been caught out before trying to delete files on cards in windows, and it messes everything up.
I was having problems doing a time lapse video, the recording would start then stop at random times, sometimes after a couple of frames, sometimes after a few hundred.
Anyway, after Sharkey and Ricardodaforce's comments, I have generated a return authorisation for the cam, so it will be swapped for a new one, that hopefully will arrive tomorrow.
