Hi , it`s looking doubtful , but hope someone has an answer . Back in 2008 when I was even more of a numpty than I am now . I had no idea about Metadata and so never added copyright ect to those now old raw files . Is there a quick way I can do this now , like using batch processing in Canons DPP ?

I cannot speak for DPP but many editing programs have the facility to embed copyright info in to file when creating/outputting the converted raw to say a jpeg. In other words, you need only need to make sure you have made that sort of selection ;)

I am getting this message in Elements 19 ,

" could not complete the file command because the metadata library could not be loaded "

??? Does this on all images including Jpegs from all dates taken .

If you're not allergic to command line tools, Exiftool could do this for all the files in a directory (and its subdirectories) with a single command:
