Can someone tell me what a DG PCB UNIT

My poor long standing backup D300 wouldn't turn on after a trip back from the forest :-( sent to get it checked at fixation and get quote before going off to photo guard for insurance.

They have said it's the DG PCB UNIT, Can someone tell me exactly what this is?

May be different in cameras, but a PCB is usually a printed circuit board?

Digital image processor board, one of the two main processor boards in the camera.
