Can I let you people know about a competition ?

Hi all,

just want to check before I post something - can I let people know about a competition here ?
(It's a free to enter competition run by a new website offering photographic courses).

I'd like to post a "call for entries" but I don't want to be a spammer !
So what's good etiquette ?
