Can I easily crop to screen image?

Trying to pixel peep at 100% before I finally decide to send my lens off to Canon. Know about zooming to 100%, but how do I crop to the screen that I am seeing? Each time I try, the cropping tool in CS3 send the screen moving around all over the place. Is there a simple screen crop button or something i am missing?

so have you worked it out yet?
 
Select the marque tool, set it to fixed size of say 800x600, then click in your image and move it around until it suits!

Sorry if I've ruined a game here :p
 
Open up your image in CS3. Click veiw/zoom in until you see 100% in the bottom left of the window and then position image and crop.
 
No!! How I got round it in the end was using the rectangle marque tool to outline the screen, which didn't move too much, then cropped it from there.

Worked OK, but no doubt VERY long winded!!!
 
It doesn't matter what the car looks like as long as the scenery looks good when you arive :)

Select the crop tool
top left on the top tool bar in the two boxes
type in 800 and 600 make sure you add px after the numbers
or it will default to cm
