can anyone vouch for simplyelectronics...

Google is your friend.

All the stories I have heard is that if what you want is right in front of them and they can be bothered, then you might be all right. Otherwise ---

good experience of them. No problem.......find anyone that has actually lost money its mostly those whinging about late deliveries........

Grey imports, no makers uk warranty, your warranty is solely with the company and their agents.

That's enough to make me steer well clear

I bought a Tamron lens from them at an excellent price and had no problems. It was delivered quick and I had all my questions answered from them quickly to.

Cannot fault them from my own experience

Got a colleague who ordered a camera for his son's 18th... it didn't turn up within a week in time for the birthday, so he cancelled the order and got his money back.

Camera turned up the next day :)

Got my TZ7 from them. Good experience for me. Arrived quickly and packaged well.

late deliveries, being lied to, and canceling orders only to have your card billed are *quite* important though. Avoid

Took four months and the threat of involving my credit card company before they finally replaced a Canon 70-200F4L that went defective after two weeks. As for the warranty according to them there was nothing wrong with lens so returned in a still not working condition initially.
Won't touch them again.

If its Canon you're looking at try Kerso on the traders section.

I was looking at an iPad from them. £399 and also quidco cashback..
How would the warrenty stand with that? Apple UK?
