Whilst researching the best price to offer for a s/h Canon G10 I checked the current going rate over on cCamerapricebuster.co.uk - http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/prod955.html

The cheapest price in there was apparantly Argos!! @£286 with a money off voucher ID, a cool £60 less than the next seller. However clicking on the link to check Argos' stock my AVG site scanner went mental warning me that the link was re-directing to a known phishing site and blocked access, going direct to Argos its £458. I've tried to email the site owner both through the online form he has and emailing him direct (as he states the online form is not working!!) but that bounced.

Not sure if other 'too good to be true' links on the site are equally pointing to dubious sites

Be advised

I've just clicked on it and it goes to the G10 on Argos's site and with a 20% discount the price is about what they said!

Canon G10 on Argos

Oh and you will get a £10 Argos voucher too for spending over £50!

Maybe it was just AVG getting a little twitchy then. My mistake!!

There is a voucher code for 20% off cameras over £200 on the original site

I have seen a couple of things like this - once was the Nikon 24-70 (around £1200) for £119 from a reputable store. Went to link and it was 'normal price' guess someone at CPB forgot the final name!!
