Would that mean that the shutter would start milliseconds after she pressed your button - and the card would be finished in a couple of seconds ;-)

Anyone can take a picture with a good camera or a bad camera. Making a picture is another matter. All she did was stand there, pre-focused, set the camera to whatever the meter told her, and fired 11FPS until she got one lucky shot.
