Camera Max £300

HI guys
I am looking to buy a camera for my son for his 18th birthday and wondered what people would recommend.
He has not had experience of cameras before and therefore a camera that is not too technical to use would be good.

I had a Nikon d3200 as my first camera and thought it was decent. I think I paid £300 for the camera and it came with 2 kit lenses!
