Just a quick question..

If I get camera insurance and at any point might need to claim, will I need the original receipt because I've got a few things that were bought as second hand as I'm a newbie and just wondering if this would be covered? Thinking about getting insured with E&L insurance...

I have all my kit insured with the house insurance, listed seperately, when I have had cause to claim I have not required receipts.
 
Mine is also on the house insurance.
 
i got some extra personal possesions liability with tescos added onto the house insurance that covers stuff i'm carrying around upto 1500 iirc
