Can anyone recommend an insurance company that will insure second hand lenses, That are older than 2 years, as most wont insure for items older than 2 years.

All my gear is insured by AAduki and they've never mentioned any issues with the age of my lenses.

I started a similar thread about insurance a couple of weeks back and I'm now aware there are several such threads on the system. Have you spoken to your own house insurers? That was the best advice given to me and apart from my insurers initially getting their left & right hands crossed they did sort it out.

I've never heard of that and would be interested to hear which companies have told you that.

I use Photoguard, and they happily repaired a 7 year old lens and a three year old 7D body last time I claimed.

Have been considering getting Photoguard insurance sometime soon myself...must get round to getting it

I have insurance through Photoguard and have lenses over two years old and even second hand gear covered. I dropped and damaged a second hand 7D last year but once I'd proved ownership (proof of swap for a 60D) they paid out straight away. I've got cover for the wifes gear as well with the same insurers.
