Camera Insurance

Hi all,

I'm just wondering, does anyone use "Protect your bubble" to insure your camera? Only I have a Nikon D5100 and on their website it is just under £5 / month to insure it. Really interested because they cover accidental damage so if I fall over with my camera and break it, they would pay for repairs or whatever has to be done from my understanding.

Another query I have is, is camera / gadget insurance similar to car insurance where if you have to claim, you pay more when you renew your insurance?

From what I've read most people seem to use specialist photographic insurers. A lot seem to be on some kind of new for old gear policy?

Sorry I can't help, mines all included in my house insurance. Including accidental damage.
