Just picked up a Canon 300v from Camera House (https://camera-house.co.uk/index.php)

It was cheap as chips (cheaper than eBay!), and works perfectly from what I can see so far.

They have a ton of film equipment on their site, and it all appears to be very reasonably priced too. Hardly any "high end" stuff, but if you're after cheap 120 folders, box cameras, or "bits & pieces" they seem to have quite a bit of stuff.

Digital cameras also for sale, mostly quite old, but a great entry point for anyone looking to pick up something cheap & cheerful.

Delivery was reasonably quick and the process was painless.
Thumbs up from me and another bookmark.

I bought a couple of things from them. Like Harlequin565 says they have lots of fairly low end stock with a few posh cameras. The prices are very attractive.

Why is there no landline telephone number?? that puts me off a little I don't normally employ trades with just a mobile number on their van - but that's just me

Les :)

lots of people have done away with land-lines, there's no need for the extra cost. Mobiles are more versatile and cheaper than having both. I've done away with a land-line at home due to paying for something that isn't used. I don't think it will be too log before land-line telephones are phased out anyway, in my opinion, especially with online telephony being easy to use, readily accessible, from a location where you'd have a landline anyway, and being largely free (apart from the cost of the internet service, of course).

There's no reason not to 'trust' someone who just uses a mobile number.

I've had a few things from there and I've never had any issues, I have to say. The thing that bothers me about them is how listings are left on the site after they've been sold, I think I've found a bargain but its already gone.

I agree Jim, However: I was ripped off having my driveway paved by a mobile only contractor, hence my reluctance :) and landlines prove an address mobiles do not, as I found out to my cost at over £3,000

Not saying that Camera House are dodgy in anyway of course

Les :)

I had that too. Mine was showing "out of stock" on the landing page though, with no cart option. I think quite a few shops leave stuff on their site to draw people in from search. It can be annoying - especially if it's something you've been looking for for a while.

Exactly. Spotted a 5x7 printing easel thingy that I've been after for a while but already sold.
