I'm sure I've seen them somewhere, but I can't remember where.

Can anyone point me towards a harness for your camera? Something that actually clips round you so no matter what position your in (upside down etc) the strap will not slip off letting you pride and joy plummet 60m down an abseil course?

That's exactly it Pete cheers. Couldn't find it on WEX  But I'm sure that's where I'd seen it.

We do a fair bit of abseiling and climbing with work (adventurous training) and while I'm not a big fan of climbing, I love abseiling. So my usual trick is to abseil down so far on the climbing wall and get some shots of the others climbing. The other onw is to abseil on the opposite side of the other person abseiling and hang there, shotting across the hole. What I did last time was to attach a lanyard between my camera and my climbing harness. Problem of course then is if you drop the cam not only is it going to fally quite a way before the lanyward arrests the drop, but it's also going to swing straight into a rather hard wall of rock :bonk:

You're welcome Chris, cheap enough as well aren't they, when you consider they're designed for photography? That usually means doubling at least of profit margin!

Pete
