Sent my camera off to cannon via jacobs photography
they charge 10 quid to get the camera assessed opposed to jessops that charge 25 for the same service.
my 400d has gone in for the CF ejector release button not working, hopefully it my need a new spring and the worse case scenario needing a new CF slot which could be costly apparantley
