Camera equipment cheaper in France?

I'm off to france next month- just wondered if canon gear is cheaper than here in blightly? Might be worth me getting some kit while i'm there...

If not in eurpoe, then where else is equipment cheaper?

Just got back from France and can confirm that *everything* is more expensive due to the crap £-euro exchange rate.

It's definitely more expensive here at the moment. The movement of the Euro v GBP will improve the situation a little in the short term but the Euro dropping against the Yen will probably negate that when the next pricing changes occur.
