Hi

I'm looking to buy a camera bag for my girlfriend for christmas. She has a Canon 1100D, 18-55 kit lens and a Canon 70-300. So needs to be big enough for those plus the usual spares and also mobile, makeup etc.

A shoulder bag would be best and discrete if possible.

Also, I would say she is fairly large up top so would need to have a fairly long or a designed for lady strap for when the strap is over her head. (Please keep answers sensible!)

Cheers

AB

Look at the Crumpler range. They're all girl's bags

I have the bowling one Gazamonk mentioned in the other thread (got it for xmas last year) and it has things on the side where you can attach a shoulder strap. Luckily I had a white strap so mins is useful for shoulder too. Have to say it is small - can only just fit in my 400D and one telephoto (standard size 200mm one). Would be ok for taking just the camera with you. Will get a pic of it with my camera inside :)

clicky

I just got a Crumpler 5 Million for the wife, she has a gripped 550D, 18-55 IS and 55-250 IS, charger, batteries, flash and all the other bits and bobs for the camera and it's about full. If you want to get makeup and phone etc. you might need a bigger one though. They are very well made and look like a normal bag most women seem to carry about rather than a camera bag.

Lets be fair, a normal womans bag would be fine, I mean they carry everything in them like make-up, purse, hair brush, kitchen sink..... ;)

The new Manfrotto bags look stylish (try Jessops) or maybe a blinged peli case:D

I'm a lady and I use the lowepro passport for my camera an extra lens and my 'lady' things.
