I was due to photograph a football match yesterday which was called off at lunchtime due to a waterlogged pitch, I was disappointed not to take the images of course but a little pleased that I would not be exposing my kit to the elements.

I have an EOS 1d Mk11 which I know proffeses to be water proof? however I would feel far more comfortable using it and the lens 170mm - 500mm Sigma with a cover on if I get rain in the future.

I see a recent thread relating to "hand made" covers but can anyone put me in the direction of a supplier of off the shelf covers??

Try this link to Warehouseexpress.com, they sell Aquatec covers - not used them personally but was looking in to getting them myself at some point.

Look quite good and dont seem to highly priced for what they do

Thanks - just took a look on Warehouse Express, they look just the job....

This forum is helpful.....

The 1 series bodies are actually only weather resistant if the lens attached to it is weather resist too, and the Sigma isnt im afraid.

The only ones that are, are these Canon L Series lenses.
