Hey guys. I wanted to ask if it is possible for a lens to focus automatical if I mounted a lens adapter?

Yes. Well, I say yes, because I don't actually know a great deal about them. But Wex list a few that in theory should work. But of course it depends what your camera and lens is. Looks like you might be paying a bit more than your average dumb adapter though.

Is it for the M100 in your profile? You could use Canon's EF-EOS M adapter to mount Canon EF (SLR) lenses, which will autofocus.

Adapters for lenses from other systems will generally be manual focus.

There are a few clever adapters for some other mirrorless cameras (e.g. Sony) that allow some manual focus lenses (e.g. Leica M) to be autofocused, but I don't know if anyone has made one of these for EOS M cameras.
