Before I purchase one I need to know what type of power cord they come with as I am going to be concealing cables in D line trunking.

I am hopeful that they come with a C7 power cord but part of me thinks that it may be more like a laptop power cable with the box of tricks in the middle (which is very hard to conceal) or even worse - a fixed power cord which isn't long enough

If someone could verify that would be fab, even better would be if someone could verify for the following model - LG LAS260B

Many thanks!

I have the LG LAS350B and that comes with a "fixed" power cord :(.
Googling your model number and looking at the images it would appear that is also the same for the LG LAS260B.

Dont suppose you are able to measure how long your power cord is?

From the earth pin on the plug to the back of the bar is 55 ins

P.S how far from the edge of the sound bar is the power cord?

From the end of the bar ( L/H/S) to the centre of the cable is 9.5 inches

Slightly different on my LG LAS350B; 10 1/2 inches from left hand side - the optical cable / subwoofer connections are in the middle at ~ 17 inches.

Optical in 12 ins from the R/H/S and blue tooth Sub.
As in the opening post.

Im not worried about the AV connections just the power cable.
In my infinate wisdom to wall mount our tv with sound bar underneath but conceal cables at the same time means a lot of pre planning has to be made for the cable runs to ensure they reach the power points.

Im sure it will look pretty when finished but its a lot of faff just for the sake of hiding cables :D

Cut the 3 pin plug off and use those little 240v connectors? that way you can run it through the trunking, and extend the cable to your hearts content?

By the above do you mean splice the cable and use the connectors to lengthen the cable?
Cut the existing cable fairly short, to the sound bar, but obviously leave enough to work with, and join on a whole new length of cable, and wire a 3 pin plug on the end, so you just have the one join, rather than add a piece in the middle, if you see what I mean?
