Hi

I am looking for anybody in Norfolk wanting to help out a newbie just starting out in photography. I have a Nikon D50 and am hoping with the help of you kind people I will eventually get to grips with my Camera and as a result be able to get some great results with it.

Hope to hear from you soon
Becs :)

hi..and...............:welcome:

2 good books from Amazon ..........

"Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson

"Creative Nature and Outdoor Photography" (Paperback)
by Brenda Tharp

when i bought my D40 - the owners manual was rubbish....printed in grey text !
have a look at "Nikon D50 Digital Field Guide (Paperback)" at Amazon Books <£10
well worth it ..............

Hi Bec's Well your in a good location to start with :)
Plenty of good places around the docks etc to get snapping..
I pop over there at least once a month to give the camera an airing :)

There are loads of good tutorials not only on this forum but also on youtube.. photogavin does some reasonable training stuff. Also camralabs on youtube or www.dslrtips.com.

Have fun..
Bob

Hi Becs,
The best way to start learning is to read the very basics and then go out and take photos! Sure you will not be happy with lots, post up some here for gentle critique!! Its a learning curve and as you take shots and analyse what is good and what is not, you will learn more about your camera and photography.
