Quick plea for any Cornish members, or anybody going on holiday to Cornwall this year!
I'm starting my dissertation research this summer and need a few willing volunteers to help me Basically I'm researching people's perceptions of Cornwall through photography. I'm giving people disposable cameras to take photos of what Cornwall means to them.
So, if you fit into one of these categories (everyone should fit in somewhere):
Tourists
People who have lived here all their life
People who have moved to Cornwall from another place
People who have never been to Cornwall before
(there are other categories but unless you're elderly or a school child living in Cornwall they probably don't affect you!)
And would like to take a few photos of what Cornwall means to you, then please could you either reply on here or PM me? I will supply all cameras and process them, all I need you to do is take the photographs and fill in a very quick questionnaire explaining why you took them!!
If you fit into the "people who have never been here before" category I'd love it if you could select a few photos from the internet of what Cornwall means to you.
I can't offer any money to people who help me with this research, I am funding it out of my own pocket and am looking at spending £200 as it is just buying and processing the cameras
But I would be eternally greatful!!
