I am thinking of getting a Monitor Calibrator not sure which so what you guys suggest.

Would I see a good difference once it done?

I use the X-Rite iOne. Works fine on MacBooks. Will you see a difference, possibly. There was a slight improvement on mine when I calibrated it, but the Retina models seem to have a screen close to sRGB anyway. Most important is brightness. MacBooks lke many laptops ( and desktops) for that mater have native brightness that is way to high. Calibration enables you to get a good stable level that is repeatable. My rMBP matches my 2 iMacs very closely so corrections done on the rMBP are valid on the desktops.

Although I use an iOne I'm sure other devices such as the Spyder will give excellent results as well.

If you go through the Calibration Control Panel
of your machine, you will, like I did, realize that
your screen will be very fine… not perfect but
darn close.

I had to calibrate all my screens because of the
printing jobs we do (magazines, book, etc.) and
the differences were important enough to sync for
the different printers (profiles) but not really for web
or general viewing pleasure.
