Calendar Templates on Photoshop

Hi Trying to design a calendar using the templates from Digital Photo magazine but think Im going wrong somewhere lol, before I opened the templates in Photoshop I saved the picture as a PDF file and set the resolution to 300 but 'try' to move the picture to the template (calendar cover) and isn't moving lol. Where am I going wrong? lol, is the file size too big? Should I save the picture as a JPEG instead of a PDF? (saved the picture as a PDF file cos uploading the calendar to Fileprint) Any advice, much appreciated, thanks .

I have had a look at the mag, it doesn't say which file type to use, but if I was trying it I would go for JPEG.

Save the file as a photoshot PSD not PDF. That should work.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated, I'll 'try' both ways (JPEG and PSD), to see what one works, I'll keep you posted .

Hi After lots of attempts to upload to Fileprint (finally got there tonight lol) but my favourite calendar templates are the ones from Digital Photo cos there nice and simple, gonna 'try' again to design the calendar (using templates from Digital Photo), not gonna give up easily, gonna 'try' my best and hope I get somewhere lol. Saved the pictures as JPEGS and it worked yipeee lol (just need to do the right image size lol).

Hi Finally getting somewhere with calendar, designed the calendar using the templates from Digital Photo (nearly ready to upload calendar to Fileprint lol), just need to do a back cover lol. Does anyone know how to create a page for a back cover on Photoshop Elements 5? Trying to do a back cover for the calendar but not doing very well lol.
