I'm going to the Cairngorms area next week and was wondering if there were any good spots for wildlife viewing. Bird hides, or just good places to go.

Thanks

It's probably not what you're looking for Chris, but the Highland Wildlife Park is a good backstop for something to do and their website will give things like feeding times. The polar bears are pretty much unique and they come right up to the fence to be fed, so you can certainly get close enough! One good thing on their website is the webcam for the snow monkeys as you can get a good idea of the local weather from watching it.

Thanks! I've wanted to see a snow leopard for a while, they look so majestic on TV. Might give this a visit, cheers.
