Afternoon all,

Steff (Bendihossan) and I are planning a mooch up to CadWest in the morning with the cameras if the weather looks favourable... Anyone else making the trip?

We're hoping to be there by half nine to tennish if anyone fancies meeting us there :)
 
Would have loved to, but have no transport this time. I hear the Red Arrows may be in town...
 
Well that was a fun day of nothing! Saw a C130 but it was went to the Bwlch and saw a Hawk at around 1,000 feet. Only thing that came to Cad West was an F15 Eagle that was too high and missed the entrance! D'oh! :bang:
 
Really! Sorry to hear it was a washout.. but glad my plans fell through now ;-)
 
Pitty I missed this post would have warned you that the Bwlch would have given you more chance, as thas where most of the regulars are going.

Yep, we saw the F15 head around that way three of four times :(
 
Ah well... you win some, you lose some! It's not like it was the last time they'll ever be flying through there. :)

This was the best of the few I snatched as that damned F15 went over and behind us rather than below and in front... Bloody American's have no idea which side of the road to drive/fly on! ;)

After my attempt at shooting today it's a darn site better than my attempts, to make it worse mine were Chinooks which fly a darn site slower, how, how, how.....
 
Its actualy not a bad pic. Still bet it was good to see.

Shame you had a poor day,..... but keep trying!!!!!,.... Fridays have been the busy day lately for some reason :thinking: ,
 
Hi Martin,

It wasn't a bad day as such... it was just that the aircraft we did see were either up high or went through the Bwlch and right rather than swinging down through CadWest. :)

The climb's getting easier though! ;)

It was nice to see them full stop, I do admit, but would have been nicer to get some shots of them too. I've got my heart set on a C130! :P
