I have four Cactus V5's and three older YN460-II flashes which work great. I just bought a fourth YN460-II and it won't work with the Cactus V5's? 
If I put the new flash on the Cactus V5 and turn it on then the flash automatically fires once the flash is ready and then after that I can't change or do anything with the flash. None of the buttons do anything and the flash won't fire. I can't even turn it back off. Once I unscrew the flash from the V5 it starts working normally again.
The new flash has a metal foot whereas the three older one's I have all have plastic feet, so I guess something is shorting or something with the metal foot? Any ideas what I can do?
I've tried putting insulation tape over the outside edge of the metal foot but the foot is that tight in the V5 shoe anyway it won't go in at all with the tape on. :shrug:
