Is it worth using the preset functions. Or change settings to suit the condo
 
Always depends - I use them when needed to switch quickly. Video C3 is important as that has the settings used when you press the video record button.

Yes, I think presets are a good idea as they allow you to select a known set of settings for specific scenarios very quickly.

For example you could have C1 with eye detect and either a wide aperture or a fast shutter for people pictures, C2 with tracking for action and C3 for single shot with a 10 second delay and IS turned off for tripod use. There are many possibilities :D

Thank you. I’m into bird photography so that will be handy for me
 
I have C1 setup for wildlife. Manual with auto ISO shutter 1600 at f/5.6 and focus tracking and high speed shutter. f/5,6 so which ever lens I have fitted it all works. From there its easy to change shutter speed etc.
