BW Conversion - First Attempt

Hiya,

This is my first attempt at converting to BW properly. I say properly as normally i just select greyscale in Lightroom and thats it. So I have shoved this into CS3 and followed a simple tutorial (Channel mixer, Burn Layer, Soft Light Layer).

Here is the Original:

And here is the BW (incase you couldnt tell)

Any hints or comments etc on improving as although I like it I am 100% with it... if that makes any sense.
