Buying second hand CS4 on ebay - yes or no?

CS4 Master Collection on ebay

Anyone bought a second hand set? - Am tempted with this to run on a spare computer.

CS5 version for mac there.
Personally I don't worry about buying 2nd software as long as you get a receipt for your purchase and the serial number is there you should be fine. Just install and activate it before leaving feedback.
You should also consider looking around new for it aswell as sometimes ebay sellers seem to want more than you can get it for new. I managed to get get CS5 master suite for £400 late last year and some places will offer bargains on software from time to time.

I'd beware, if it's been registered you could come unstuck, it may be a blocked number and shut down when it picks up an update, or it may have been used to update from and then you won't be able to at a later date.

As with anything on Ebay, check the sellers feedback, i bought a second hand, but unregistered copy of Nik Software full suite for £200 on Ebay, loaded inand registered fine. if it turns out not to work you should be covered by paypal as the item will not have been "as described".

I'd avoid, to much pirated software passing as original on ebay
