Hi...on some of the threads I was reading...what does buying from grey mean??? Feedback much appreciated
Buying from outside the country you are in... same equipment you buy anywhere but can be cheaper...

Buying from a non-authorised supplier, can be based in UK or overseas
Some examples of popular grey importers are Panamoz (Brighton-based), Digital Rev (Hong Kong) and Flash Camera (aka Kerso - based Scotland and sourced from the USA). They're generally cheaper as they're importing non-UK stock. In bypassing Canon UK there is a strong likelihood that they (Canon) will refuse to honour warranty claims, but the importers generally offer their own warranties in place of this.
So its not equipment from outside the country? I always thought it was.. can you explain more as I really dont understand non-authorised ?
