I recall previous posts about folk buying consoles and the like from Amazon Germany - either because of UK stock shortages or because it was cheaper.

I'm after an Epson printer - the R3000 - the price of which has been steadily rising in recent months in the UK. Cheapest I saw it at Amazon UK was £523 and that was several months ago - it's now £551. I can get it from Amazon.de for £508 delivered - obviously tempting!

Can anyone advise me re warranty issues and compatibility? I don't imagine voltage will be a problem but I assume that I will need an adaptor?

Thanks for any help!

ive done it numerous times it will have a 2 year warranty and the only issue will be euro power lead and the manuals will have german as the 1st language the english will be somewhere else

check amazon.fr as well sometimes cheaper

also easy way to do it unless you speak german is open a uk amazon page side by side with the german one all the buttons etc are exactly the same so you can easily work out waht to do :)

Cheers for that, will check out amazon.fr too. No need for the dual page thing - I just use Chrome browser and it auto-translates.

Old thread but thanks for suggesting amazon.fr - you've just saved me 50 euros and a longer warranty :)
