Burning to DVD

Hi
Am using Roxio Creator (not sure which version if it matters), to burn wedding photos for clients to DVDs. All seems ok but when client trys to view, its asks them if they want to format ?
Is it an issue in the way I am burning to the dvd, or type of dvd Im using...or me just being a bit thick ?
Any ideas ?

not used roxio in a long time i used a early version but that had many options like disc at once or other setting that leave the disc open so you can add more to it later

doubt its the dvd themselves

when burnt do you know if the dvd disc finalized

try it in your dvd player if it dont read its likely its not finalized

try it in the pc via roxio to finalize the disc

They are dvd+r. Have found the finalize tool within Roxio but now when I run it, its not seeing the dvd...whether its run its finalize programme I am unsure !
Am burning it as a data disc..should it be anything else ?
I can openand view images on my laptop and my husbands laptop
All very frustrating !

From what I remember of Roxio, there are two options when burning, leave it open to add more files later, or finalise.

You need to finalise to play on most DVD/CD players.
