Building a website

OK here goes.
i want to get a website up and running with my shots ect on, now i'm no computer wizard so welcome any help/info/suggestions on the best way to do this, build from scratch or use a company, what are the better ones out there ect

I'd say go for a hosting solution such as www.smugmug.com [let me know if you want a discount code ]

They offer great hosting services and fully customisable layouts with custom pricing etc for sale of prints. I ran my own site for a while and to be honest it wasn't worth the hassle, you would also need to have a payments provider and that gets expensive

Lots of specialist hosts out there, SM just ticked all the boxes for me
