Yes we've seen countless threads of room conversions etc but here's my scenario,
The lease is up in the next few months on our studio that's located a few miles from home. I'm now working full time due to needing a more secure income as I cut the weddings down due to family life over the last 6 months but it's such that I'm now making more money doing newborns and tots shoots for the area and would ideally like to get back to working at home full time again. We have an 8M x 4M barn in the garden which is around 200 odd years old and we've been sat looking at it with the intension of converting it into a studio. I'm a handy bloke with all the tools to do it, but what I'm looking for is some input from others on traders to buy the materials from. I'm going to lay concrete flooring as the barn currently has soil flooring as it looks like it was used at some point for live stock, inside it's constructed from old oak timber and cladded outside with some sort of red pine but inside i'm thinking of going for the clean look, putting up rails for blackout curtains etc. Who can suggest some good companies in the south (Hampshire Wiltshire border) ?
