Hi Guys,
I thinking of buying a tablet, mainly for photography use whilst travelling and wanted some input on what sort of specs I should be aiming for and what software I should be looking at running.
I travel a fair bit, abroad 3-4 times a year plus long weekends in the UK and some motorbike events. I'm looking for a machine to do basic editing, deleting, cropping, etc. I swapped to Fuji from m43 for the OOC jpegs and hardly use RAW anymore.
I want something light and portable 8-12" leaning towards 10", with a great screen (usable in strong daylight) and decent battery life with fast charging, quad core (perhaps?) Full size SD card slot, full size USB port, I'm favouring Win10 as this will integrate with my desktop and phone and I use contiumm a fair bit too. Id like to get away from the cheaper Chinese stuff as I've had bad experiences in the past and to be honest id consider used, I see CEX offer 24 months warranty on the tablets. Doesn't need to be all singing and dancing. I've a modest budget £200-400, the less I spend the more I have for lenses
Would lightroom run on a tablet and would it sync with a pc running it. Currently using Paintshop Pro which is over kill most of the time, as I mostly shoot jpegs.
I want to sit down at the end of the day with a beer and view what I've taken and delete crop, save, upload. Tethering would be good, but I'm not sure my camera supports it.
Many thanks.
