Looking to add a dslr slider to the arsenal.
Just wondered if anyone has any surprisingly decent budget finds?

At the moment I have a neewer* slider ear marked but want to see what other people use or recommend.

Depends what you call budget Dynamic perception call their $1000 slider budget ha ha but I started with the digi slider which was ok for the money, hand crank or just push the cart long but out grew it & moved on to something a bit more suited to me. I've been thinking of selling it if you are interested & depends on what your budget is ?

Sorry for the late reply buzz. I have managed to acquire a motorised slider 2nd hand locally now. I appreciate the reply to this thread though.

We use an I footage Shark, it's around the £450 mark but it's solid and dependable. The Konovos, Neewers etc are lighter and cheaper but you lack the quality of finish which ultimately affects the results...possibly making it a false economy if you can't use the shot anyway.

I have a pocket dolly traveller slider and always wanted a motorised option. What kind of system do you have, Dan?

i strongly recommend Digislider, it is built mostly for timelapse, but i have used it for video shooting with no probs. Look it up on their page.
