Budget battery powered gear?

I have been doing quite a lot of studio work recently with some reasonably nice studio strobes....

I now want to do some outdoor/location shooting and im not sure what gear to look at.

I have a Sigma EF 530DG Super flash and a wireless trigger (manual only)


But I could do with a couple of extra "strobes" perhaps with a little bit more guts than the sigma...



What would people recoment for a portable "wireless" solution?

I dont want to spent big money, its just for a bit of fun more than anything....

What do you consider "big money"?

Without going down the DIY route, you're probably looking at around £700 upwards (there's no ceiling to it btw...)

Unless you just add a few extra hotshoe guns and some poverty wizards...

the lencarta safari kit is the best value for money in my opinion, its very reliable and i think as good as some kit that is far more expensive.
totally reliable too, have used mine in loads of shoots.
about £750 ish at the mo...(depends if that is is that big money?)
