I have just seen the timetable for BSB at the Brands Hatch July round. Supposed to be on the GP circuit but for Friday they are on the Indy circuit :bang:. Plus to make things worse the Superbikes and Supersport are only on track for 1 session each (being called official test) rather than the 2 free practice sessions they normally get on a Friday. Now wondering whether I will bother going on the Friday as already have plenty of shots from Druids, Clearways etc....

Gutted - I am working the Saturday and Sunday so was looking forward to a full day around the GP circuit on Friday - wont bother now :(

Was the same last year. I think the October meeting is the same:(

Yeah this is the norm I think there is a noise issue & can only run a limited number of days on the full curcuit.I only go on Friday as I can get to the inside of Druids & a couple of my secret spots without the crowds on Sunday.

Yes and as said its because of gp circuit days restrictions.

See some of you there on Sunday - if I escape the mud bath of War and Peace that is!

I understand what people are saying about restrictions at Brands but there again they had a bike track day there on Wednesday 18th July (2 days before the BSB round) and they used the GP circuit. Seems to me that MSV have got their priorities all wrong.

I think you will find their noise allocation has different levels and different days of the week.

It is all tied in with noise levels as are most circuits nearly all now have 24 hour noise recording equipment that have to be shown to the council. So if the allocation is say 17 noisy days a year and the noise is exceeded either on a track day or race day then you loose a day at the end of the year. Like what happend at Croft last year

Pant's isn't it - I mean come on. . . . you go to buy a house near a racing circuit it's going to be noisy, get over it and enjoy the free passes. Don't ring the council and complain . . . . maybe we ought to find out who is complaining and have an. . . . 'accidental building barbecue'
