browser resolution

I'm not sure if this is connected or not but I have just updated my laptop to windows 8.1 and I have noticed that my usual browser chrome seems to have lost some resolution. Firefox has crisp sharp fonts while chrome is much less defined. Any idea how to adjust chrome so that I get it back to how it was.

I've tried zooming but it doesn't sharpen the text

might just be chrome being daft with CSS then (wouldnt surprise me).

id wait a week or two when marcel deploys the new forum. hopefully itll go away.

Panic over I've fixed, it don't know if it was the upgrade that caused this but seems a bit of a coincidence I noticed it straight after doing it. Right click on the chrome shortcut and then properties and tick the box indicated in the image seems to have considerably improved it, the res is better on my screen than appears in the captured image.
