Bronica lens info wanted..

This might not be the right part of the forum to ask this question but, please, bear with me, I'm new here.

I'm awaiting delivery of a Bronica ETRSi complete set up. My question is this: Are all the Bronica range of lenses compatible (except the SQ types). Will an EII or PE lens work with the ETRSi? I know the MC models do.

You'll get many more answers for anything film related, hardware, film, chemicals, or jsut techniques if you post in Film & Conventional... They're a strange bunch in here, maybe because they spend too much time sniffing chemicals and hanging out in dark rooms, but they're mainly friendly

(and yes, the F&C regulars have a strange/warped sense of humour, including the mod in residence )

Hi Tom, and welcome to TP. According to the Bronica Manual, the ETRSi was based on the existing ETRS model and existing accessories could be used on the new camera. Someone who has more experience will probably be along soon.

All ETR lenses i.e. MC, EII and PE will work on the versions of ETR cameras.
The difference is the PE lenses are the latest and some some say optically the best, but whether you can see the difference in a large print is debatable.

Cheers guys.. Camera arrived on late Thursday evening. Very happy with what I've got. Got another 120 film back coming and I'm trying to source a lens hood to fit. Happy Days, virus or not.
