Broncolor lists t0.1 flash durations in their manual for the Scoro S for min/max output only so I dropped by my local dealer to read the numbers from a Scoro 1600 S pack directly.

Does anyone happen to have the numbers for the 3200 S for comparison?

I am planning to purchase one or the other and am interested in knowing whether, or not, the flash durations are different for the 3200 S at the same energy output.

Here are the numbers for the Scoro 1600 S in Optimum Color and Speed mode for anyone that is interested:

Output* opt speed
1600 1/265s 1/535s @1200J
800 1/575s 1/875s
400 1/1070s 1/1870s
200 1/1630s 1/2620s
100 1/2150s 1/3250s
50 1/2300s 1/4000s
25 1/2800s 1/4900s
12.5 1/3500s 1/4900s
6.3 1/4600s 1/6000s
3.1 1/5250s 1/6000s

I was able to get the flash duration at each f-stop from the previous generation Scoro A4S. No one seems to have the 3200 S in stock locally to pull the numbers from.

Anyone happen to have the Score 3200 S and wouldn't mind posting the flash duration at level 8, 9, and 10? Interested in knowing if there is a difference in flash duration at 800J and above. Thanks!

Here are the numbers from the A4S (all numbers are 1 / t0.1)

Output, opt, speed
3200 132 (285 @ 2400J)
1600 305 465
800 575 1000
400 875 1500
200 1230 1870
100 1400 2300
50 1750 3000
25 2300 3000
12.5 3250 4300
6.3 3500 4300
3.1 4300 4900

I can't answer your question but...

1. Why not just ask Bron? they are one of the very few manufacturers who actually publish their figures and the fact that they haven't published ALL the figures you want doesn't mean that they don't know them and that they won't pass them on to you if you ask?
2. Does it really matter? You know that the figures are about as short as they get for conventional (non IGBT) technology, so whatever power setting you use, the figures will be about as good as you can get.
3. You can approximate them anyway, based on the figures that you already have - it's clear from the published figures that they are switching out capacitors (rather than just using a potentiometer) as the power settings are reduced andd that this results in shorter flash durations at lower power settings.

Should have mentioned, I already asked Bron a while ago. For whatever reason it's taking a long time to get an answer, thought it would be simpler to just get the numbers from the pack directly. I"m sure I will eventually get them from Bron.

Odd, every Bron rep I've spoken to has been *incredibly* knowledgeable about their products, and since the duration is one of the many things that sets their scoro line apart from anything else, I'm surprised they don't have data sheets readily to hand!

The reps I have spoken to have been extremely knowledgable as well. They have a data sheet available which shows the flash duration at each f-stop for their newer Move 1200 pack, just not one for the Scoros apparently. The data sheet for the Scoro only shows the duration at min and max power.
