I have recently upgraded my wannado dial up to wannado broadband.
When I open up the email account via outlook express I get this message,
"An error occurred while establishing the Dial-Up Network connection 'Wanadoo AnyTime'."
How do I get this to coincide with my broadband as the dial up connection will run out soon.

no its connected via an ethernet cable.

You go into Tools, Accounts, select the appropriate Mail Account then click Properties on the left column of buttons, Select Connection from the top tab, and tick "Always Connect to this account using", and select Local Area Network from the drop down box.

Click OK and that should be it.

bear in mind that wanadoo will 'close' the account after 90 days, all you have to do is go to wanadoo account page and reinstate your account, download the settings but dont click on them.. Ive been doing that for 2 years!

Edit: I should read other posts first :)

Some of my incoming emails go straight to deleted folder, Why and how do I prevent this.

Might be your antivirus program, alternatively check there are no Message Rules in the Tools menu.

I can't find any message rules that even hint at emails being moved straight to the delete folder. I've tried sending emails to myself which have got through on dial up but these go straight to the delete folder.

message rules are under tools, rules wizard, this is for Outlook, would have thought it was the same for express aswell.

You don't need to download them, just getting to that page is enough.... and yes I've been doing the same for a few years too.

;)

I found my email address in the Blocked senders list. I had registered for emails from Brands Hatch as regards future events etc. but I've never had an email from them yet other than when I requested a prompt for my password. Still don't know why I've never got them. I know other people who get them no problem.
Thanks for all your help anyway. One problem solved.
