I am off to Lytham this saturday.

I am on a corporate do so loads of cheap champagnue and beer.
So not realy there for the pictures

Is it worth bringing my camera,
1. How close can you get to the players
2. What lens shall I bring (small bag)
3. Where is the best spot to take pictures etc

You won't be allowed to take your camera or phone in.

But if caught you can now be chucked out. They use airport style scanners to check everyone. There are secure areas for you to leave phones etc if you need one after you leave the course.
