I am experiencing problems when running the Photoshop Batch command in Bridge. I have set up an action in Photoshop CS6 (PS) that first opens the raw file into Adobe Camera Raw (ACR). I have ensured that Image Settings is selected in the ACR menu and then opened the file in PS as a smart object. The action then adds a number of adjustment files (nothing dramatic), before saving the file as a PSD and closing.
When setting up the Batch process, I ensure that Override Action Open Commands, Suppress Files Open Options Dialog and Override Action Save as Commands check boxes are all ticked. However if I run this on any files that have been cropped in ACR, it completely screws up the crops for these files. I am guessing that this is due to the size and resolution values in the Workflow Settings in ACR. Is this the case? Whatever the cause, is there a way to resolve this? Any help will be gratefully received.
If there is no way around this, I guess I'll just have to come up with an alternative workflow for these files or just do my cropping in PS.
