I bought the Rolleiflex with the fault but got it at a ridiculous knock down price because of the shutter issue. Will want it given decent CLA then I can look forward to tentatively taking my first & very inexperienced steps into the world of medium format, and Rollei's.

I can't recommend Brian highly enough, I have had him service two of my Rollei's in the last few weeks and several others in recent years. He does a very thorough job and is an absolute gentlemen to deal with. As far as I know he must be one of the last genuine Rollei trained engineers, he did some of his training at the Rollei plant in Braunschweig back in the day and he certainly knows about all their workings. He describes them like high quality watches, that when properly looked after and maintained will quite possibly outlive their owners!
