I use it sometimes, but I also have ad blockers installed in Firefox, so don't have a problem with ads anyway. I do like their philosophy of providing a payment system to sites that you use regularly.

Thinking out loud!

Chrome has its "Incognito" tab selection......I thought that meant no cookies, breadcrumbs or other identifiers that might trigger adverts. Plus I have ESET as my security and that has a secured browser mode......that I use when doing things that need to be secure, even though you get the padlock Https on the standard chrome.

Incognito/private browsing/porn mode (delete as appropriate) usually discards cookies and history so that your computer doesn't contain (obvious) evidence of where you've been, rather than necessarily obscuring your ID from the sites you visit.

Ah! I see re incognito ~ as mentioned I use the secure ESET browser (Chrome as my default) for the likes of online financial stuff.

AFAIK that should attempt to prevent your login details being slurped by malicious sites or software.
